After Jacob Zuma having been in office since 2009, following the end of his term and a half in 2018, He has finally been charged with: two counts of corruption, one count of money laundering and 12 coutns of fraud. After his manuvering through the system by becoming President in 2009 despite the multibillion dollar purchase to modernize post-apartheid South Africa's military, rape and corruption charges; he was able to breach into the hearts of the poor in South Africa who still had the oblivion in their hearts to believe the propaganda he had potrayed.

The NYT times article was able to present the information about Mr Zuma's prosecution in a broader context which a non-South African would be able to understand. However, what they did do was use language like "tactician" which could lead the reader to viewing Mr Zuma as a theif (which one could argue he is) and without fully understanding the bigger picture.

On the other hand, the Mail and Guardian article was able to present more information regarding how many charges Mr Zuma was presented with more detail than the mail and guardian article. In doing so, it gives the reader an opportunity to come up with their own conclusions on whether or not Mr Zuma is worthy of the chargers or not.
